Leadership Team

Gerald joined Solex in 2014 with a comprehensive background in process engineering. He has led our company’s global business development efforts in industrial product lines such as chemicals, metals, minerals and sands. Most recently, Gerald championed Solex’s energy portfolio, which included creating tailored and process integrated solutions designed to improve our customers’ energy utilization and efficiencies.

Mark joined Solex in 2017 as CFO. He provides leadership in all areas of financial management, human resources and information technology. Mark is a CPA, CA with more than 20 years of experience in international businesses ranging from large public companies to start-ups.

As Chief Sales Officer, Igor Makarenko is responsible for the strategic direction of global sales for Solex Thermal Science. Igor first joined Solex Thermal Science in 2010 and has since helped to solidifying the brand as a globally recognized technology provider of heating, cooling, drying and energy recovery solutions for solids, gases and liquids.

Pedro joined Solex in 2008 as a sales engineer based in the UK, later establishing Solex’s operations in Brazil before becoming Vice President of Sales, Europe. As Global Director, Industrials, Pedro now oversees Solex's involvement in sectors such as chemicals, metals and minerals and sands.

For more than a decade, Stan has played an integral role in championing Solex’s efforts within the world’s foods market. Initially focused on oilseeds applications in North America, he moved to Europe in 2016 where he led the company’s global expansion in the oilseeds field. As Global Director, Food, Stan now oversees Solex's involvement in sectors such as oilseeds, sugar, coffee, cocoa and others.
